Are Some Really That Ignorant About God Or Do They Just Don't Want To know?

How did all this come about? Some scientists claim they don't know. We Believers in Christ know. It's Obvious where it all came from. Yet, those scientists intend to reject the obvious answer to the question and go with what they think will be the answer to this question. Why? What sanely reason, if any, do they have that will support their decision to reject the obvious answer to that question?

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. Romans 1:18-20

So, they do know the obvious answer but they choose to reject it being that it doesn't fit to their agenda of disbelieving in God. It is clear that they have rejected the Truth of God for the lie of Satan. They need Jesus bad.
So if the Bible is the literal truth about the world, why can't anybody find the "four corners of the Earth? ? Is the Earth truly a quadrilateral??

Isaiah 11:12 — And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Rev 7:1 — And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

Rev 20:8 — And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Ezekiel 7:2 — Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.

DUUUDE!!! Since when is the King James Bible classified as "Jewish scripture"???

The Christian Bible's Old Testament contains Jewish scripture taken from the Hebrew Bible. The New Testament comprises writings mainly of apostate Jews, the most prominent among them was Paul, a Jewish rabbi. Christianity is essentially a Jewish faith that splintered off from Judaism.

BTW, both men and women usually have 12 pairs of ribs; the same number regardless of sex. A few individuals are born with 11 or 13 but 12 is much more common.

Genesis is Jewish scripture. I have no comment on the story about Adam.
@sree251 OP is arguing for literal interpretation of the Bible. Your argument is consistent with treating the Bible as antique mythology. That's OK by me.

We Believers in Christ know.
How do you know that what you believe to be true, actually is? The simple truth is that you do not.
Everything you believe about God and such is based upon a book, or more accurately, a collection of books written over an approx. 1500 year timeframe, by authors who at the time didn't know they were writing something that was to become part of another, larger book called 'The Bible'.
No one should base their life upon a book; they should make the effort to work things out for themselves. It's not that hard you know. Actually, it's quite easy. ☺

Here you go again. It's pretty clear that you're just using Christianity to agitate and argue with people. You're effectively using God simply to satisfy your need for attention. You're nothing like a true Christian.
oldguy73 · 70-79, M
@Richard65 yes, you are right, if people want to believe in a deity, fine, but leave other people alone

Who's arguing? I'm just asking why.

Right there 🤞 You said something one time that is so true and I never forgot it. Some can't find God for the same reason a thief can't find a cop.

CORRECT! We do not know. No one does, so why make up ridiculous fairy-tales to cover up our ignorance and pretend we do?
Science is all about admitting to what one does not know. Scepticism and doubt are actually encouraged, whereas those who have a religious ideology to promote would have us believe they have all the answers, and that we should just trust them. Fat chance! 😂
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP
you were pointing your guns at atheism
Yes, I was. That was then, but this is now. I've changed my mind, an easy enough thing to do when the evidence (or lack thereof in this case) warrants it.
@Bel6EQUJ5 recognizing you were wrong is all very well, but to swing so far in the other direction as to throw yourself into the ignorance of not being able to distinguish religion from fairy tales is next level
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Bel6EQUJ5
How does the author of Genesis know this?

Moses wrote the first five books of God' Word with the help of God's Holy Spirit of Truth. The evidence is all around you and in your mirror. Where's your evidence that Moses didn't write the book of Genesis and that God didn't create the heavens and the earth? Show it to me.

The Sun orbits the Earth, right?
That's the obvious answer, right?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 But it's the obvious answer, right?

After all, you have been advocating for the obvious answer...

It's Obvious where it all came from

those scientists intend to reject the obvious answer to the question

their decision to reject the obvious answer to that question?

they do know the obvious answer but they choose to reject it

Are you now saying that you are wrong?

The Sun orbits the Earth, right?
That's the obvious answer, right?

That's right, if Earth is regarded as the fixed point, then everything, including the Sun, moves relative to the Earth.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@sree251 There are no fixed points, so inventing one is merely self-deception. Of course, there's a strong human propensity towards that very thing... as the OP has shown.
You’re not promoting belief, just wrath and an evil agenda that has no evidence. When you make a statement of a "belief in Christ", that is expressing doubt, not certainty.

The OP is asking a question. And what does being Christian mean to you? Each has his own perception of this world we live in.

@newjaninev2

Of course, there is no fixed point. Everything is relative. It is not self-deception. It is mathematics. This is how we navigate.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@newjaninev2
Any fixed point is merely arbitrary, but in earlier times the doctrine was that the Earth is the fixed point.

That is a practical doctrine considering it is the ground we stand on. It serves no purpose to regard the Sun as the fixed point and we are riding on a rotating ball that is revolving around the Sun.

That reflected religion's anthropocentric view of the universe... obviously it's all for us, it's all about us, we alone matter, and everything else is inconsequential.

Of course, we alone matter. We are the only thing that exist. We encompass everything we perceive.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@sree251 and so the 'obvious' isn't

No one knows God. And what really irks me is people like you who claim to know everything about God.

We don't know everything about God but we do know Him on personal basis just like you can, if you can get out your own way.

Please get a basic education.

You don't understand the scope or mindset of science.

That's the only problem here.

You do not know if God exists.

I not only believe that God lives but I'm also certain that He lives through my experiences through His Holy Spirit and through His Word. Show me evidence that He doesn't live.
James25 · 61-69, M
@GodSpeed63 You said it. It is what you believe. You don't know if he lives you only believe that he lives. Does he live through the words and actions of the Old Testament? The evidence is in the Old Testament. Because his words and actions in the Old Testament are violence and atrocities and genocide. The God that you think lives is not the god that is described in the Old Testament. The god that you believe in of the Old Testament doesn't live because he is not a god therefore you cannot prove that he lives.
