Are Some Really That Ignorant About God Or Do They Just Don't Want To know?

How did all this come about? Some scientists claim they don't know. We Believers in Christ know. It's Obvious where it all came from. Yet, those scientists intend to reject the obvious answer to the question and go with what they think will be the answer to this question. Why? What sanely reason, if any, do they have that will support their decision to reject the obvious answer to that question?

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. Romans 1:18-20

So, they do know the obvious answer but they choose to reject it being that it doesn't fit to their agenda of disbelieving in God. It is clear that they have rejected the Truth of God for the lie of Satan. They need Jesus bad.

So if the Bible is the literal truth about the world, why can't anybody find the "four corners of the Earth? ? Is the Earth truly a quadrilateral??

Isaiah 11:12 — And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Rev 7:1 — And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

Rev 20:8 — And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Ezekiel 7:2 — Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.

"Four corners" is a figure of speech. It means to say in all directions. Get it?
@sree251 I get it, although corners and directions are very different things; corners implying hard limits while directions do not. But sure, figurative.

AND. Since we're agreeing that parts of the Bible aren't meant to be taken literally, we start to wonder which other parts are figurative. Eve from Adam's rib? Creating the sun, moon, and all the stars on day 4? Noah's Ark carrying 6000 species of mammal plus food supplies and 400,000 species of beetles? Etc etc.

See, that's why the OP avoids the 4 corners question. He doesn't want to step onto the slippery slope of where to draw that line between figurative description vs literal truth.

Corner imply hard limits? How about being in someone's corner? Or to corner the market?

You are citing Jewish scripture. You need to consult a rabbi for clarification. Be careful. You don't want to come across as a disrespectful anti-semite intent on making fun of the chosen people.

Are you a mind reader now?
@sree251 DUUUDE!!! Since when is the King James Bible classified as "Jewish scripture"???

Genesis 2:21-24 King James Version

21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

BTW, both men and women usually have 12 pairs of ribs; the same number regardless of sex. A few individuals are born with 11 or 13 but 12 is much more common.

The Christian Bible's Old Testament contains Jewish scripture taken from the Hebrew Bible. The New Testament comprises writings mainly of apostate Jews, the most prominent among them was Paul, a Jewish rabbi. Christianity is essentially a Jewish faith that splintered off from Judaism.

Genesis is Jewish scripture. I have no comment on the story about Adam.
@sree251 OP is arguing for literal interpretation of the Bible. Your argument is consistent with treating the Bible as antique mythology. That's OK by me.
