@Straylight Why do you say or believe Jesus is God?

@seotelkniwt I’m not sure that I do. I’m open to the idea, but I’ve yet to be 100% convinced.

@Straylight The Bible doesn't call or say Jeaus is God, rather it calls Jesus the "son of God", God's "first creation..."
Think about this: Can a baby boy or a son be equal to it's father? Oh, they may have similar traits or characteristics but they are definitely not the same person. Wouldn't you agree?

@Straylight Think about this: If Jesus was God why would he tell Mary to go to his brothers and say to them: "I am ascending to MY Father and your Father and to MY God and your God." Think about it: Jesus didn't say he was ascending to himself, but what he was saying is that he was ascending to his heavenly Father Jehovah shortly.
Question: If Jesus was God, did God have brothers in heaven? If God has brothers in heaven does that mean God had a creator also? No.
Hours before Jesus' horriifc death he prayed to his heavenly Father Jehovah and said: "Father, if you want to, REMOVE this cup from me. Nevertheless, let not my will, but YOURS take place." (Luke 22:42)
Question: If Jesus was God why would he be praying to himself to have "this cup removed from..." himself if he were God? Think about that. Also, Jesus didn't say let this cup be removed from "us", he said "me" referring to himself and not God.
