Somehow I like the dragon better. It doesn't try to tell everyone how to live their lives, aside of leaving it some space in their garage. Your dragon sounds healthier for the mind and less as a crutch used to keep people silenced.

@pillowprincess I’ve actually read The Demon Haunted World and technically he was talking about people claiming to be abducted by aliens in that chapter. But it’s a versatile metaphor.
