Do you believe in the power of prayer?

There are some things I've been praying for my whole life that haven't come true, so now I'm getting to the point where I think prayer is for finding the strength to accept terrible things as they are rather than for changing the circumstances. Have you ever had a prayer answered?

I've had prayers answered many times. Getting the answer is as much as noticing what is the answer, if you do not pay attention you will go around all your life thinking nothing is happening around you.
