Do you believe in the power of prayer?

There are some things I've been praying for my whole life that haven't come true, so now I'm getting to the point where I think prayer is for finding the strength to accept terrible things as they are rather than for changing the circumstances. Have you ever had a prayer answered?

Yes I strongly believe in the power of prayer. God always listens and will help in different ways. Sometimes the answer to our prayer might be no or come in a different way than expected.

God knows what we need, loves us and has a plan for us. We need to trust in him. Prayers are also more about connecting with God rather than about demanding things.

@blindbob It's about asking/thanking god for health, love, forgiveness, strenght... for ourselves and all his children.

@Willa that's what I usually pray for. but i am still struggling so much. i feel like something is blocking my blessings.
