Do you believe in the power of prayer?

There are some things I've been praying for my whole life that haven't come true, so now I'm getting to the point where I think prayer is for finding the strength to accept terrible things as they are rather than for changing the circumstances. Have you ever had a prayer answered?

Yep, but not in the way where we're asking for things, it's not like that. We have to pray that whatever is or occurs is [i]Gods will[/i]. It's not like he's sitting there granting wishes like a genie.
