Do you believe in the power of prayer?

There are some things I've been praying for my whole life that haven't come true, so now I'm getting to the point where I think prayer is for finding the strength to accept terrible things as they are rather than for changing the circumstances. Have you ever had a prayer answered?

Yep, but not in the way where we're asking for things, it's not like that. We have to pray that whatever is or occurs is Gods will. It's not like he's sitting there granting wishes like a genie.
