@SW-User My point was I don't believe my own dreams and what happened there, why the fuck would I believe some christian claiming that prayer made them turn away from pot?
We invented scientific instruments because human perception was so fucking fatally flawed we needed a way to measure things despite the errors in perception we experience.
I don't trust human perception, if it was trust worthy we wouldn't NEED computers and microscopes and tons of other devices. FMRIs, MRIS, CAMERAS, etc.
If there's one thing science DID teach me its that we only see A FRACTION of what's actually out there and that we perceive a lot that ISN'T actually "out there"
