Why Can't Skeptics Refute The Evidence In These Videos?

[media=https://youtu.be/JiMqzN_YSXU]

Here is another video showing scientific evidence for a young universe and a young earth.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

Will skeptics show evidence and facts to refute this video? No! They'll resort to ridicule and mocking out frustration due to their inability to do so. They allow fear to grip them like a vice when faced with the Truth. The Truth exposes their world views to be lies and that angers them and puts fear into them. They can't grasp at the thought of not being able to change the Truth, let alone change the history of mankind recorded in the Word of God.

2A fool does not find joy in understanding but only in expressing his own opinion. Proverbs 18:2

Fear can twist the human mind and these humans will not be able thing clearly but the Love of God drives out all fear.

Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart. 1 Peter 1:22

While this is convincing evidence, it’s evidence of ignorant ravings. The earth is 4billion or so years old. This is not subject to refutation by these people.

@redredred The idea that the Earth is about 6,000 years old is an ancient ethnocentric Middle Eastern Jewish religious belief. Some of them believe that the world will end in another 218 years or so and that they will then take control of everything.

Other people see no basis for that belief but they are reluctant to actually call bullshit on the people who created it in the first place.

The bottom line is that it is a religious belief and not a scientific belief so it becomes a waste of time to even discuss it with someone who believes in the fairy tale. Maybe, at some future time people will realize that the fairy tale was just 100% BS and bury it forever. It would be wonderful to see that day.

@Diotrephes Bishop Ussher used average age of all the begats in the Bible to estimate the age of the earth. He decided the earth was created on or around 6 pm on 22 October 4004 BC, adding 4004 to the current date we get 6026 year for the age of the earth.

So far as I know he wasn’t using mushrooms .
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@redredred It's possible to add up a lot of number combinations to get to the number 6 but there is only one combination that satisfies the fairy tale.

He was using zeros , which didn’t even exist in mathematics of biblical times. That might mess up a few equations.
@redredred Nowhere in the Bible is any speculation on the age of the world. Nor does it teach mathematics. The phrase "one day is with the Lord as a thousand years" is from a non-biblical source. It’s from the gospel of Peter and used to validate young Earth claims.
redredred · M
@BlueSkyKing And you’ll note I correctly sourced the 6000 year age idiocy to the moronic bishop Ussher.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@redredred I agree that Ussher was a moron but he came out with his calculation in 1654. The Jewish Babylonian Talmud has that 6000 year idea as part of its doctrine and it was written centuries before Ussher came along. Ussher may have popularized it for the gullible Europeans.
@Diotrephes No, it’s not a Jewish belief. A pastor came up with the 6000 year number in the 19th century by adding up years in the Bible. You won’t find many Jews today who think the world is 6000 years old.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@LeopoldBloom I don't recall saying that millions of people believe such things. It is a fact that that idea of a 6000 year limit is expressed in the Talmud, which was written centuries before Ussher came up with his BS in 1654 to con the gullible Europeans.

All it takes is a small group of fanatics who believe silly BS to use their wealth and influence to make the BS a reality. Your continued refusal to acknowledge that might indicate that you are a minion of that group.

You just contradicted yourself, Red.

The earth is 4billion or so years old.

According to whom?

This is not subject to refutation by these people.

What are you afraid of, Red?

Won’t wash. You got nothing.

@redredred Remember, people simply love Jewish fairy tales and will defend them to the death. It doesn't matter if it's the Bible, the Koran, communism, or the holocaust. If anyone doubts any of them they are instantly ostracized and even killed, in some cases.

So, when someone claims that the whole universe is less than 6,000 years old and that the Earth is flat, they are repeating lines from one of their favorite fairy tales.

I suppose we are lucky that they aren't as vocal about the stars falling to the Earth =

Take the eye patches off. Won’t wash. Doesn’t hold water, wake up and see the truth, according to Whom ? Already been refuted. You can’t prove it’s not true.

@Diotrephes The Hebrews we’re a primitive people 3000 years ago. Not much more ignorant than most. All cultures at the time relied on folk tales and made up origin stories. The difference is the Hittites, Assyrians, Medes and Philistines are gone or assimilated. The Jews are still here and keeping their culture, even the silly bits, are part of the reason they are still her as a distinct, discrete culture. Good for them, I say.

@GodSpeed63 According to me and every other thinking human being. 3000 years ago everybody was primitive. They believed in invisible legends and silly ideas like miracles and an invisible sky-daddy.

You really believe that?

You really believe that?

Can you show anything to refute it ?
redredred · M
@GodSpeed63 No, I don’t believe that, I know that. I realize you read primitive scribbling from ignorant wanderers and call it wisdom but the rest of us live in 2022 and understand that Bronze Age herders were primitive.

No, I don’t believe that, I know that.

Where's your evidence and facts to support what you say is true?

Are you saying that you are unaware of the fact we’re living in the year 2022 ? No wonder you don’t consider the goat herders primitives, compared to you, they are two thousand years more advanced.
@Diotrephes I have to say, you know more about the Talmud than 99.99% of Jews.
