The Beginning Of Creation

[media=https://youtu.be/-PP12-9IBfg]

This is the beginning of historical events recorded in the Word of God. Skeptics have tried to use science to replace this historical event with what, we have no idea. Their ridicule or mocking in an attempt to discredit the Word of God only says one thing: they can't change the historical events in the Word of God since they can't change history itself. This is what I have observed on here from the start. For the sake of argument, if what they're believing is actually true, why can't they give testimony to it instead of putting all their energy into useless chit chat? They're being Illogical.

Yes, you'll never convince me that the whole thing just ,'happened' by blind chance, the universe is too ordered and beautiful for that!!
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@TheWildEcho doesn’t mean it was created
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@Ferise1 why not? If it's too ordered and beautiful to just happen by chance it must have been designed and created
@TheWildEcho
"You believe in a book that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons, sticks turning into snakes, burning bushes, food falling from the sky, people walking on water, and all sorts of magical, absurd and primitive stories, and you say that we are the ones that need help?”

This only shows that Mark Twain was not the brightest person in the ball park. As of now, he's having eyes opened to the Truth.
@TheWildEcho If God designed it, he didn’t just “happen” either. He must have been created by an even greater God. The Gnostic Christians believed this.
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@LeopoldBloom so you believe the whole thing just 'happened'?
redredred · M
@TheWildEcho The universe is a glittering example of chaos, it’s anything but ordered.
@TheWildEcho If everything was created and ordered, why are we all not living on one , perfectly round (or square) supercontinent? Why is this supercontinent covered in its entirety in lush, green pasture, with no mountains, valleys, waterfalls or anything? Think about it. Such a place would be so incredibly boring to live on. Everywhere, the same geology, the same temperature. I believe the universe is beautful because there is no human or supernatural force behind it. And yes, I believe it was down to "the big bang", if you want me to put it as plainly (or, as I prefer, bluntly) as possible. And further more, that original "big bang" is still going on now, and has bilions of years to run.
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@redredred I find the universe very ordered and beautiful, the way the planets revolve around stars and we can survive on a little ball spinning on its axis and orbiting the sun at exactly the right distance to give life!! Not too near the sun and not too far away! I also find the planets fascinating, all different and all beautiful in their own way, and Saturn through a telescope is amazing
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@jackieash there was no big bang. The earth always existed in a smaller purer form.
@Ferise1 Such as?
redredred · M
@TheWildEcho Your finding are based on ignorance. I’ve been an amateur astronomer for forty years and I can tell you the galaxies are constantly colliding, planets as well. Stars explode and the remnants collapse into all sorts of destructive entities. Look up magnetars if you want to feed your nightmares.

What you see as order is a brief moment of peaceful interactions. The sun will eventually engulf the planets out as far as Mars.

The old idea that the universe is as orderly as a watch is simply silly, the cosmos is a wild environment of chaos and destruction.
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@redredred so God's creation is even more amazing than I thought! the Bible says the earth will be burned by fire after the final judgement.
redredred · M
@TheWildEcho so no matter what facts are produced you bend them to get the conclusion you already have come to. That’s the very definition of a superstition and thanks for admitting as much.
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@redredred it's not about superstition it's about faith, l don't see that I've bent anything, this is a post about biblical creation and I was simply sharing my thoughts on the subject
redredred · M
@TheWildEcho okay, try to pay attention. You claim “God’s” creation is great because it is so orderly. I point out it’s actually chaotic, you then claim “God’s” creation is great because it is chaotic and still works.

You take your erroneous assumption and use it as evidence of your “god” greatness. Corrected, you take the new, diametrically opposed information and use it to come to the same conclusion.

That’s superstition.
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@redredred what I am saying is that I believe God created Saturn's rings, the red spot on Jupiter, the ice volcano on Titan and millions more amazing things, I don't believe they just happened by chance, the solar system is incredibly ordered and when you mentioned the sun will burn up the inner planets some time in the future it made me think yeah, the Bible says that the earth will one day be burned by fire, after the final judgement, just hadn't thought about how that would happen. Now I know!!

We live and learn!
redredred · M
@TheWildEcho What I’m saying is that you’re god is no more real than Santa or leprechauns. You diminish the majesty of reality by supposing and invisible sky friend made it all.

It’s much more imposing and fascinating than simply saying “god did it”.

And we live and learn, you’re missing the second part.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@redredred your god
An invisible
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@redredred well if you want to think I'm superstitious and think my God is an invisible sky friend then that's up to you, if it makes you happy believing that about me then it doesn't bother me lol

Enjoy your day and enjoy your astronomy!!
redredred · M
@TheWildEcho enjoy your fantasy.
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@redredred I've never been one for fantasies lol!!
redredred · M
@TheWildEcho if you believe in supernatural beings, no matter what name you give it, you believe in fantasies
GodSpeed63 · 70-79, M
@redredred
if you believe in supernatural beings, no matter what name you give it, you believe in fantasies

You still haven't provided support for that statement.
