Jesus sets us free from the condemnation sin placed on us, and restores us to a rightful relationship with God.

God so loved the world...not just "some"... that he gave us his only son. Jesus came to earth as a man, and laid down his life for us. His death on the cross paid for our sins, and brings us forgiveness. His ultimate sacrifice, sets us free from the condemnation of sin, and restores us to right relationship with God.

He was risen to life again and reigns in heaven. He wants you to know him and be with him, now and for all time.

Jesus paid the ultimate price for every one of us. It is the greatest gift ever given. He paid it for you. He offers his free gift of salvation. It does not happen automatically. It is up to you. He turns no one away. He's not mad at you. He already loves you. You never have to earn His love. And he'll never abandon you.

I never really agreed with the literal idea of sin, I think its an analogy for the purpose of recognising your ethical faults. It never sat well with me that being born into life means you're inherently bad. Some people take it really seriously and it makes them very unhappy.

@Ryannnnnn There is, actually, and everyone is in the same spiritual boat, not just one or two of us. Spiritually speaking, we can see the sin in this world and how it affects us all, so it does exist, and as a result, sin keeps us separated from God in heaven, until we ask Him to forgive us. And then, we're fit to step foot in a Holy heaven. God said so, in John 3:16 But....it is 6:25 am, and this old gal has yet to get some sleep! 😂😂😂 Thanks for being nice to me. Nite. 😊

@LadyGrace In your opinion lol. Have a good night!.

@Ryannnnnn No. It's what Jesus said about himself, in His Word. Not me. John 3:16 and 17. Jesus volunteered to lay down his life, to pay for the sins of the world, because in the spiritual world, sin always brings a death penalty with it. It keeps one condemned and separated from God the Father, until we ask God to forgive us, which he does, and remembers them no more. We can't drag our sins into heaven with us. God the Father is so Holy, He cannot even look upon sin. Not until Jesus forgives them, because His Father approved Jesus as being the only Mediator between God and man who was worthy enough to cover our sins, being He is without sin. In the spiritual realm, the blood of Jesus is the only thing that has the power to wash away our sins. Jesus said that. Anyway, I don't want to bother you further.

Or religion teaches you the idea of sin, what you need to be redeemed of when you harmed no one?

It's not religion that teaches us the idea of sin. Jesus told us what we need to do about sin.

@LadyGrace And where does the idea of Jesus come from?
LadyGrace · 70-79
@SW-User He's not an idea. He came to earth and theres plenty of proof and witnesses to that, over 500 witnesses saw Him after He resurrected from the dead and ascended into heaven, to go back to His Father in heaven. His mission was accomplished. Some don't believe that, and go on for days, debating, but I'm not here for that. One either believes or they don't. That is their prerogative.

Never trust a false god.
LadyGrace · 70-79
@butterflybaby75 I agree. There's plenty of them out there, but Jesus is not one of them.
