Jesus sets us free from the condemnation sin placed on us, and restores us to a rightful relationship with God.

God so loved the world...not just "some"... that he gave us his only son. Jesus came to earth as a man, and laid down his life for us. His death on the cross paid for our sins, and brings us forgiveness. His ultimate sacrifice, sets us free from the condemnation of sin, and restores us to right relationship with God.

He was risen to life again and reigns in heaven. He wants you to know him and be with him, now and for all time.

Jesus paid the ultimate price for every one of us. It is the greatest gift ever given. He paid it for you. He offers his free gift of salvation. It does not happen automatically. It is up to you. He turns no one away. He's not mad at you. He already loves you. You never have to earn His love. And he'll never abandon you.

Or religion teaches you the idea of sin, what you need to be redeemed of when you harmed no one?
@SW-User Religion is man-made philosophy. Salvation brings a personal relationship with Jesus, who wants to take our sins away. It's not the idea of harming anyone, however, it is the sins of the world that hung Jesus on the cross, as He paid for our sins with His life. In fact, He volunteered to do that on our behalf, to show His love for us. Sin keeps mankind separated from a holy God. If we drag our sins into heaven, it would no longer be heaven. When Jesus forgives them, he remembers them no more and we are then fit for heaven. Jesus made the sacrifice/payment of our sins, for us.

@LadyGrace I'm not going to argue with you upon that. And thank you for the response, I knew it could have been taken differently.
@SW-User I am only discussing, not wanting to argue at all. Thanks for your input. All replies and thoughts are certainly welcome and valued.

It's not religion that teaches us the idea of sin. Jesus told us what we need to do about sin.

@LadyGrace And where does the idea of Jesus come from?
@SW-User He's not an idea. He came to earth and theres plenty of proof and witnesses to that, over 500 witnesses saw Him after He resurrected from the dead and ascended into heaven, to go back to His Father in heaven. His mission was accomplished. Some don't believe that, and go on for days, debating, but I'm not here for that. One either believes or they don't. That is their prerogative.
