I doubt he said that at all. It's supposed to be an Isaiah reference and a fulfillment of "prophecy". But all those prophecies get shoehorned into the story at a minimum a generation later. At most all it shows was that he was aware of the saying in Isaiah. At least it puts a dent in the him being God idea. Cause how can an omnipresent God which is also yourself abandon you.
