This might sound like i'm being a snot-nosed little punk to you, I assure you, it's not my intention to mock or try to discredit anything. I'm legitimately curious. When you pray for others, for the salvation of the unbelievers or the sinful....do you include Satan in those prayers? Do you pray for Satan's salvation? If not, why not?
Carazaa · F
@SarahAndSamantha No I do not. Why not? Because God tells us humans to resist the devil and he will flee. So that is what I do.
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Carazaa This isn't about resisting or being influenced by Satan. This is about asking God to lead Satan towards a path of Salvation. Can Satan be saved. SHOULD Satan be saved?

Wouldn't that be the ultimate act of a loving God? The supreme victory? To forgive his literal adversary, and not just forgive but lead he who is thought of as evil incarnate back to righteousness? And, beyond all of that, who needs salvation more?
Carazaa · F
@SarahAndSamantha That is for God to decide not us! Who are we to second guess God? That is very arrogant. God made everything he can decide what to do with the world I will never critisie God EVER! Very stupid to do that in my opinion! I am stupid compare to God I cant make life or planets or stars. Who am I to answer such a question???
” 7 Submit therefore to God. But [h]resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you [i]double-minded. James 4 vs7-8 @SarahAndSamantha
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Carazaa Who's second guessing anything? Why is it loving and caring and acceptable for you to pray for a humans salvation, whether they want you to or not, but second guessing God's plan to do the same for Satan? You're not demanding God saving him, just like you wouldn't be demanding him to save Inglebert Humperdink if you prayed for him. You're asking, and it's up to God to decide.

As I've stated numerous times, I have zero insight into God's plan, but maybe that is our true test. For us to want the ultimate forgiveness and love to the one who we would never think of deserving it.
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Wearelivinginamadworld yes, yes, resist the devil and he will flee. I'm not talking about submitting to the devil, i'm not talking about following him, or worshipping him, or even listening to him.

I'm talking about asking God to lead him (back) to the path of righteousness. Return him to a state of grace he had before the fall. Is this even possible? Would it even be right?
satan wants the human race to turn against God. The blood destroyed the devil.

You can flatter the devil as much as you want. he wants you dead, filled with sickness, he wants your family dead, he wants total separation from you knowing Jesus. Because he is a defeated foe.

Christian's are Gods son's and daughters
Man's servant
The devils master.

Luke 10vs18- 20
.18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but [f]rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” . @SarahAndSamantha
Read your bible. Then come back and we can talk.
You are not making any sense whatsoever @SarahAndSamantha
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Wearelivinginamadworld There were four guys one night that wanted me dead. Wished me to be filled with sickness if they couldn't do that (Yup, they were literally screaming "I hope you die of aids" while they ran from the cops that showed up). Are they unworthy of salvation?

I'm not flattering the devil. IF he exists, he is the opposite of what I stand for, whether you want to believe that or not. I'm not saying "Y'know, that Lucifer dude's really not that bad of a guy. Let's invite him to the movies and y'know, just hang out." I'm not saying let's just forgive and forget and let him back up to heaven.

And neither of you have answered my question. Just reiterated 'Satan BAD' at me over and over. Isn't the point of praying for salvation to turn the 'BAD' to 'GOOD'?
@Wearelivinginamadworld it makes sense to me.
No. Read your bible before asking these types of questions.

Then I will talk.

Your questions are a huge insult to God. I refuse to answer these mindless questions.

Grow up. @SarahAndSamantha
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Wearelivinginamadworld For fuck's sake I HAVE read the bible. multiple times. I've read it as an unquestioning believer, with a critical eye, and as if it were just a work of fiction. And the pieces of scripture you posted have nothing to do with my question.

You're reading my question through the lens of 'sarah is a satanist, look she thinks satan's GOOD' change your glasses and see the truth.
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Wearelivinginamadworld Then, we're done here. A simple 'no, i don't believe god can or will forgive satan because.....' was all I was asking for. But, avoid the question because it's hard.
Carazaa · F
@SarahAndSamantha I do what God tells me to. He says stay away from Satan but pray for some peo;e. So that is what I do. I do not question God what he has clearly told me in the Bible to not do. That is whay Satan does. And that is what got Adam and Eve in trouble. So sweetheart please be careful. Its better to just submit to God and obey!
No I am not. Sarah I don't believe you are sadistic.

And the answer to your question is clear.

The devil cannot be forgiven. What else do you want me to say ?

lets have some peace now x

If you want a debate then by all means pm me

Peace to you Sarah x@SarahAndSamantha
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Carazaa Again, you avoid the question, really. You can avoid satan all you want and still pray for him. (FOR, not TO).

Matthew 5:44–45 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

Who's our biggest enemy? Who persecutes us? The ultimate evil and unjust?

So......'sweetheart'....do not speak to me as a child.
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Wearelivinginamadworld No thank you. our 'debate' is over. You have finally actually answered my question with what you believe, except for the why he can't be. But, that's okay.

There already was peace between us, as far as I'm concerned. I just didn't like the assumption you made that I was pulling all of this out of thin air. I've spent my whole life contemplating the nature of god, in all its forms.
Carazaa · F
@SarahAndSamantha I said sweetheart because I care about you. Please stop!
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Carazaa I know your intention with the sweetheart. I know you didn't mean anything condescending with that word choice. I also know, that 'sweetheart' or not, it doesn't change the fact that you are outwrite dismissing me in this discussion. Not once have you actually addressed the question. Just "Satan Bad" over and over.

I get that Satan Bad! I understand. CAN Satan be good. Can satan be repentant. Can God help him. Can God forgive him. And, should it be something we want?

No scripture. No regurgitated bible verses that have no correlation to the question. Your thought on it.
Carazaa · F
@SarahAndSamantha I believe you are trying to tempt me to sin. We should never try to be God. I pray for people, and for Satan to come out of people. God has told me to resist Satan so that is what I do. No more no less! God rules Satan! He desides, not me.
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Carazaa I believe you have no comprehension skills then. Whether or not you pray for it is of no concern to me. Seriously. I do not want to draw ANYONE away from their faith, whatever that faith may be.

If praying for the ultimate evil's salvation and return FROM evil is 'trying to be God', praying for anyone's salvation is, likewise, trying to be God. Again, you seem to be confusing 'pray for' with 'pray to'.

"God rule Satan! He decides, not me." God also rules us, correct? He decides whether we are worthy of Heaven or not, correct? And yet, you see nothing wrong with praying for a human being. Where's the difference, really? Satan sinned? For ALL have sinned. Why are we forgivable and he is not? "Because he chooses not to be." Correct. But when a human chooses not to be, you ask God to give them guidance. To set them on the pure and righteous path. Who needs that guidance most?

Again, I'm not saying let's tell God..."Hey, man, y'know get over it. Satan's a good dude, give him another chance." No. I'm saying "God, if Satan can be lead back to you, I ask that you give him guidance. To help him see the error of his ways, so that he may once again know your grace and love."

How is this sentiment evil? I see it as an ultimate validation of God's power, his Love, his righteousness.

Or, continue seeing me as Satan himself if you wish.
