@BoobooSnafu Indeed the topic is different but whenever he claims to have extensive knowledge of science, I have to call him out on it. Because he tried this with me before and fell flat on his face. We were discussing whether or not an N95 mask could stop individual particles of a virus. He said that "the gaps between the fibers of the mask are much too large to stop a virus particle." So I typed out this long ass comment explaining that a respirator doesn't work like a filter, and the size of the gaps between the fibers is irrelevant because Van der Waals forces cause microscopic particles to "stick" to anything they touch, and about how large particles have enough mass that they travel forward in a straight line and small particles have so little mass that they bounce off of surrounding air molecules, blah blah blah. And he says he knows all this stuff, but it "doesn't matter, it's still like a mosquito flying right through a chain link fence."

Ever since then, if I see him commenting on a topic about science and pretending he knows a lot about it, I start firing shots at him.

I loved that! I want to out them. Enough is enough.
