Could God Be Evil? [Spirituality & Religion]

What if it works in reverse and can also reconcile the existence of good with an evil God? Instead of reconciling the existence of evil with a good God. The problem posed by Oxford philosopher called the Evil God challenge because both works just as well at justifying each other. An evil God would be just as rational as a good God.

Good in depth 17 minute video explaining the idea that God can be evil.

I read a story about how Satan is actually the caring God but he's been maligned by God and we've been convinced that we should be happy slaves to God under threat of eternal torture..
That never made sense to me.

That we should strive to follow gods law in order to receive the "gift" of worshipping him for eternity??

@SW-User Sounds pretty narcissistic to me.

@SatanBurger exactly..

That's our God???
Suffer on earth for eighty years and worship me and I'll reward you with an eternity of singing my praises in heaven..

This kind of idea makes more sense in our world..

It explains the lack of intervention in mankind's suffering
Ah, Cosmic Skeptic. I might actually have to watch this video lol.
I am SO of the opinion that the god of the bible makes way more sense if we stop pretending he's all good and all loving rather than a self-interested sociopath.
