Biblically speaking, the Sabbath is on Saturday. Anyone marking the Sabbath on Sunday is playing into the hands of the Antichrist. [Spirituality & Religion]

In the bible, what day is the Sabbath on?

@Pikachu I think the Sabbath in the old testament was Saturday, and when Jesus came and rose on Sunday the protestant churches changed it to Sunday in honor of what Jesus did for us and to give him our "first" (Sunday is giving God our first day of the week) However we don't go to heaven because we are doing something special, we go to heaven because what Jesus did for us, regardless what day we honor the Sabbath on.

I have a problem with any church that says that if you don't do this or that you aren't saved. if we go to church on Saturday or Sunday is not as important as repenting our sins and trusting our lives to Jesus. I honor Sunday as Gods Sabbath Day for about 40 years. I don't shop, do laundry, work, or anything except eat and rest. I think it is a good habit and it makes me have a lot of energy the rest of the week. I am never tired. The world is so tired all the time and I think it has to do with the go go go all the time. We also benefit from fasting Jesus said, so I do that too at times on the Sabbath day.

Hmmm didn't know that men had the authority to change one of god's commandments.
Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. The seventh day was the Sabbath...and you think men can just change that?

@Pikachu As man created god, he can do what he likes with it.
