Creationists are always asking for transitional fossils showing the progression of a animal's change over time. How about for human evolution? [Spirituality & Religion]

Nope, no transitional forms.
@GodSpeed63

Yup, it shows a steady progression from ape-like to human. Denying it won;t change that and if you want to challenge me then point to the skull which is human and which is ape.
And keep in mind that your more educated fellow creationists can't agree where to draw that line which speaks volumes about the validity of their position.

@Pikachu
Yup, it shows a steady progression from ape-like to human.
Nope. Just a bunch of skulls scientists have found and gave them made up names to look like they know what they're talking about.
@GodSpeed63

😂lol even other creation scientists don't agree with that display of ignorance.
Would you like to try again?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Pikachu
even other creation scientists don't agree with that display of ignorance.
Name one. The sad part is: It's your ignorance that you're displaying, Pikachu. Just thought I'd let you know about it.
@GodSpeed63

Your idol Kent Hovind believes that Neanderthals were humans, while Dr Rana believes that they were decidedly not human.

That was easy.

@Pikachu
Your idol Kent Hovind believes that Neanderthals were humans
He's not my idol but, yes, he has mentioned that neanderthals were humans in his book but he doesn't believe they came from apes.

@GodSpeed63 I DO NOT, in any way, want this to be taken out of context (i.e. no racist overtones) but look at a picture of an Australian Aborigine and tell me you do not see our distant ancestors.
@GodSpeed63

And i just proved that your fellow creationists don't say ignorant crap like "Just a bunch of skulls scientists have found and gave them made up names to look like they know what they're talking about."

They maybe be wrong about their conclusions but at least they're not sticking their heads in the sand.

How do they know it's the skull of an Australian Aborigine? How do they know how old the skull is?

I don't know what Kent when he's at home. I do know what John Lennox says, “Nonsense remains nonsense, even when talked by world-famous scientists.”

Tell me, Pikachu, what makes a man/woman scientist?
@GodSpeed63
“Nonsense remains nonsense, even when talked by world-famous scientists.”
I do agree that Kent talks a lot of nonsense but even he doesn't just try to hand wave away all the hominin skulls. At least he tries to categorize them, unlike you.
what makes a man/woman scientist?
What do you think makes a person a scientist?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Pikachu
I do agree that Kent talks a lot of nonsense
Why do you say that? You're no scientist.
What do you think makes a person a scientist?
You didn't answer my question.
@GodSpeed63

Oh so you CAN read an entire post of mine when it suits you. Good to know.
Why do you say that?
Because he says things that just aren't supported by the evidence.
You didn't answer my question.
That's because i'm curious to see what you think a scientist is given that you tend to dismiss any science which does not confirm your beliefs.
I have a ready answer for what makes a person a scientists, i just want to see if you do.
Go ahead.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Pikachu
Oh so you CAN read an entire post of mine when it suits you. Good to know.
Depends on the first sentence.
Because he says things that just aren't supported by the evidence.
Like I said before, you're no scientist.
I have a ready answer for what makes a person a scientists
Then give it.
@GodSpeed63

A scientist is a person who follows where the evidence leads whether that's what they want to be true or not.
And that's why creationists tend to make bad scientists.

There, i've answered. Now you show me the same courtesy.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Pikachu
And that's why creationists tend to make bad scientists.
Because they want the truth instead of their own glory?
@GodSpeed63

No, because they try and force science to confirm their faith positions rather than honestly follow what the evidence shows.

Now give me your answer. What makes a person a scientist?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Pikachu
Now give me your answer. What makes a person a scientist?
One that has a heart for science and seeks the truth instead of their own glory.
@GodSpeed63

You don't need a heart for science. You need a head😉
And that's why creationists are often poor scientists: they're heart wants their spiritual beliefs to be true and that makes them ignore good science where it doesn't fit.
