Simple.. He created us, So therefore we are his creation, and so He wants to Redeem His creation..

If i made something and it gets damaged i want to fix it too..
@Adstar

And how are his creations redeemed?
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Pikachu
By being JUSTLY forgiven their transgressions..
So they can be justifiably Redeemed..
@Adstar

And how is one forgiven their transgressions?
SW-User
@Adstar he set the trap
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Pikachu
By acknowledging to God that your transgressions are transgressions and by trusting that the LORD Jesus has paid the penalty ( death penalty ) for your transgressions..
@Adstar

And how do you acknowledge your transgressions to god if you don't believe he exists?
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Pikachu Well you don't ... You cannot...
@Adstar

Exactly.
Which brings us full circle back to the question of this thread.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Pikachu No it doesn't.. It concludes the issie.. The answer has been given.. The Way is made clear.. 😊

John 3:
18 "¶ He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
@Adstar
The Way is made clear.
And what is the way to believing god exists so that one can confess their transgressions and be justifiably redeemed?
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Pikachu By hearing Gods will and the Way He has made for us humans to be Redeemed..
@Adstar

And how do you hear god's will?
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Pikachu Read the Holy Bible..
@Adstar

I have.
And many more besides me and that has not allowed them to hear god's will.

Which brings us back to the question of this thread.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Pikachu Well my answer was correct.. You not believing in the Way is another issue entirely.. The question has been answered.. And there is no other legitimate answer to the question irrespective of your belief or un belief..

(2 Corinthians 4:3-4) "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: {4} In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."
@Adstar
You not believing in the Way is another issue entirely
No, it's the entire point of this question.
The question has been answered
It really hasn't.
When we got right down to it, you said "read the bible" which is a demonstrably ineffective means to the end of believing in god.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Pikachu Nope.. If it was you would ask something like Why do some people reject the Way of salvation God has made for humans to be saved..

You asked Why God wants to save us.. Not why some people disbelieve in the Way God has made to save us..
@Adstar
You asked Why God wants to save us.
Uh...no.
I asked why (assuming god wants to save us) has he not revealed himself in such a way that the whole world would know he's real.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Pikachu Ohh i see.. You should have bolded your entire question...

God does not want to spend eternity with those who hate His Will.. He wants to spend eternity with people who love his will.. Those who reject the revealed will of God contained in the Bible and reject the Gospel Way God has made for Humans to be justly forgiven and redeemed will not have eternal life with God in His perfect eternal existence..

So while God would have all humans Redeemed He cannot do so unjustly and the Way He has made for humans to be justly redeemed is the Way he is doing it now..

People who seek ""proof"" of God outside the Way He has made for himself to be revealed have rejected His revelation.. And people who reject His revelation are condemned already..

You can look at the Word of God as a kind of filter.. filtering out those who reject it..
@Adstar
God does not want to spend eternity with those who hate His Will.. He wants to spend eternity with people who love his will..
This is a false dichotomy and blatantly so.
Someone who is unconvinced that god exists does not hate his will.
People who seek ""proof"" of God outside the Way He has made for himself to be revealed have rejected His revelation
Incorrect.
Rejection is a willful act. Being unconvinced is involuntary.
You can prove this concept to yourself by deciding right now that you are convinced that Santa is real.
...were you successful?
Of course you weren't. So then you understand that you cannot choose to be convinced by that which you find unconvincing.
Therefore no one is rejecting god on the basis of not being convinced.
You must first know he's real to reject him.

Which brings us back to the question of this thread.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Pikachu Those who read the Bible and agree with His Will revealed there within Will end up believing in Gods existence.....

Those who disbelieve,, first disagree with the Gods will..

Disbelieving that God exists is a psychological defense mechanism for people who disagree with the will of God.. If one hated the will of God and still believed in God then they would live a life of fear and terror of God.. So God gives them over to disbelief, delusions and deceptions.. At lest then they can have an opportunity to enjoy something in their life times on earth..

Oh and having observed the amount of mockery and derision you project upon the Gospel it is clear to me you have rejected the Way of salvation.. You are not a simple case of someone simply not believing God exists.. You are an active anti-christ seeking to mock and denigrate the Gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ
@Adstar
Disbelieving that God exists is a psychological defense mechanism for people who disagree with the will of God
...um you just made that up.
Is not believing in Santa a psychological defense mechanism for people who disagree with Santa?

So in fact you're simply ignoring the little exercise you just completed.
You just proved to yourself that belief is not a willful choice and have post hoc invented a rationalization to cover over the cognitive dissonance.
And not only that but you'd like to spin it as god doing as a favour before we burn forever.
Ok.

Oh, i see the rest of your post is given over to personally criticizing me.
I certainly have issues with parts of the bible and find other parts quite funny.
I'm also happy to discuss it both seriously and flippantly depending on my mood and the subject.
Must be that psychological defense mechanism lol.

You can see yourself out.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Pikachu I stand by everything i said.. May you be forgiven..
@Adstar

How dishonest of you.
As you wish.
