You don't know the Word of God at all. I wouldn't let you read it to my grandchildren unless you knew how to interpret it the way it's meant to be interpreted. My grandchildren are being brought up in the Word of God, BTW, thank you for your offer though.
@GodSpeed63

There's no interpretation involved.
Just a word for word reading of the story.
Would you accept?

LOL! You mean twisted to say whatever you want it to say. Various christian groups have been doing that to suit their agenda ever since it was written.

That's your version, not mine.

I don't care what the bible says or how it's twisted, it's all rubbish however it's interpreted.

It is the various christian groups who twist it in different ways so they can use it to deceive those gullible enough believe it has some value.

Prove it.

Already done. If you want it proven to a higher standard, demonstrate what you will accept as proof by proving The Flying Spaghetti Monster doesn't live to that standard - if you can of course. ;)

r'Amen

@Sharon
Already done.
Don't lie, okay? You've never been able to prove anything on here.
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63
Don't lie, okay?
I'm not lying, you just refuse to accept the evidence. It is you who has never proven anything. If you want proof to a different standard from what I've provided, you know what to do.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
I'm not lying, you just refuse to accept the evidence.
You have no evidence for me to accept.

@GodSpeed63
You have no evidence for me to accept.
Don't lie. There are none so blind as those who will not see.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
Don't lie.
Well then, where is your supposed evidence?
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@GodSpeed63 The word of God shouldn't need interpreting. It should be blatantly obvious what it means. What's the point of God giving you a message and him already knowing you will misinterpret it?
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63
Well then, where is your supposed evidence?
All around you. If you open your eyes you'll be able to see it.
Sharon · F
@Entwistle
The word of God shouldn't need interpreting
It wouldn't if it were that but the fact is, what christians claim is the word of their god is really just a collection of myths and superstitions.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@GodSpeed63 Hey! You never did answer, would you accept a word for word reading of some parts of the bible provided @Pikachu could choose?
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@SatanBurger He never gives a straight answer.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Bushranger Well, we know the answer then. Parts of the bible are not kid-friendly and they'd rather cherry-pick when reading to kids.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@SatanBurger It's not the only time or reason they cherry-pick.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@Sharon I know. Most of the Christian ideas are stolen from earlier belief systems anyway.
Sharon · F
@Entwistle That's true. TBH, I think they all are, only the names have been changed in a vain attempt to disguise that fact. That would also explain why some are so reluctant to explain their beliefs - they either don't know the basis of them, or know that doing so would reveal their origins.
