Ok it’s abundantly clear isn’t it? God doesn’t want us to do anything right now except read the Bible! [Spirituality & Religion]

Too bad God isn’t real.

@JBird you know meditation is good. If they learn it properly. Some people just can't concentrate so they don't know the power of it.

Clearly your mind doesn't just happen in one or two minutes. It take a while with proper technique and guidance. 30-45 minutes meditation helps us alot. It helps to improve our thoughts and attitude.

It helps to improve quality of living and motivates us. Trust me it helped me.
Some people of different religions won't agree but don't listen to them. Anyone can do meditation. There is a good teacher or guru in south india. Try to learn 'sudharshan kriya'.
JBird · F
@SW-User I started meditating. Yes like you said, it's super hard at first. Because you mind starts to wander off. But it has it's own merits because I feel calm after that. I tried yoga few years ago but stopped it when I met with an accident. Need to restart it.
SW-User
@JBird ofcourse. I met an accident last year too.

How is reading the bible going to stop the virus? It's hard to read when you can't breathe.
Carazaa · F
@MartinTheFirst God is in control of Satan! Read Job! And Romans 8
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@Carazaa He rules over everyone but that doesn't mean he controls everything they do. That would mean that God would be evil. You know I see people like you everywhere I go, people who believe in God and doesn't read the bible properly. You go on to believe these crazy ideas that would completely incriminate god of evil-doing, and when I try to explain it to you how wrong you are about God then you claim that you're accepting of the idea of a god possibly doing things we wouldn't allow any other being to do to us, because we'd find it completely evil as human beings.

Then one or two years later you'll have a bad day and you'll think "my idea of god is pretty fucking evil actually, I will stop believing in him all together because putting faith in such an evil being makes no sense!"

And you'd be right, because putting faith into a being that pretends to be pure and sin-free while they're actually in control of every single awful thing that happens to us humans, and the evil actions other humans do such as the ones that cut peoples limbs off to have them as living puppets, etc, is fucking insane.

The truth is, that God is nothing like you think he is. He doesn't control what we do because if he did that'd make him guilty of our sinning. It'd also make him guilty of evil doing and lying if he dictated our lives because all of a sudden we have no free will, and we live in an eternal hell.

@Carazaa
No one thinks about death!
I don't think that's true. People do think about death time to time. I think about my death which inspires me to do things and enjoy life before my time run out.
No, God has told us in the Bible that there will be plagues!
There have been plagues before Bible came. It's a natural phenomenon when organisms are not able to contain and immune against a virus. It's nothing supernatural.
Here are the signs!
1. Increase knowledge
2. Iniquity abounding
3. Falling away from faith
4. Cold hearts
5. False Christs
6. Increase Pestilence and famines
7. Increase of large earthquakes
8. Signs in the heavens, sun and moon
9. Increase mockings
10. Days like the days of Noah
11. Persecution
These are not signs of Christ's return. These are natural signs. Knowledge had been increasing since dawn of human civilization aka before christ. If you didn't know, ancient human beings didn't have faith, cold hearted to begin with. There have been famines from time humans were just hunter gatherers. How do you think continents came into beings? From platonic movements which caused series of earthquakes even before humans appeared on Earth. If you meant solar and lunar eclipse as signs on sky, that's also natural part of cyclic revolution of moon and earth. Mocking is again part of human nature. Persecution? What? Floods happens all the time.

You need to learn about science. You are just exaggerating

No he wants people to improve there immunity. Also wanted to clear some polluted air lol

You’re too sweet! 🌸

@Carazaa thanks 😃🤗
Mmagirl · 22-25, F
The Bible's full of misinterpretations. Why would God want us to read a book that has been mistranslated an edited to control the masses?
Carazaa · F
@Mmagirl Don't worry about it just repent and believe what Jesus dis on the cross for you! Hurry!
Mmagirl · 22-25, F
@Carazaa I think you need to see a psychiatrist. Clinging to a belief system so heavily is not healthy for your mental state
Carazaa · F
@Mmagirl I’m good thank you 🙂 I’m very happy, working full time,
Hiked 2 hrs today with a Godly friend, had a yummy dinner 💞
JBird · F
No. God doesn't want anything to do right now except stay home and do not get out of home until virus get down. He made churches close down to remind us religion, prayers and Bible are useless
Carazaa · F
@JBird
Oh, so sorry maybe you missed what he was trying to teach you!
JBird · F
@Carazaa flying spaghetti monster is the real God. He knows everything, he told me your God is not real. 🤣
@JBird r'Amen, sister.

My gods are telling me to serve my family and all of those who stand by me.

My gods are telling me to be the best that I can be and stand by me in trying times.
SW-User
@TakingBackMidgaard How many Gods do you have? Do they all speak to you at once? Maybe they vote and then elect one as spokes person. That sounds very Democratic though, not normally a behavior you associate with God.
Carazaa · F
@TakingBackMidgaard It’s good to be good to family 💞🙏

Maybe he just wants us to wash our hands, not touch our faces, and wear masks. Oh, and stay at least six feet away form each other.
Carazaa · F
@SW-UserMaybe 🙂
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
He is definitely trying to tell His people something.
Carazaa · F
@SubstantialKick 💞🙏
ArishMell · 70-79, M
That won't get the washing-up done.

Bit difficult "right now" anyway without a religious book in the house and the shops shut!
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Carazaa Each religion is unique, and the unique point about Christianity is its claim to the mystical nature of Jesus - Islam and I gather also the Plymouth Brethren respect him as a preacher but do not think he had any divine properties.

Does that mean the Muslims and the PBs are "wrong"? Of course not.

I have very grave doubts about the validity of vague "prophesies" written by fervent followers of a faith for their religious descendants; in a collection of ancient books that have gone through a lot of editing and re-translating over the centuries.

NO religion can claim itself being any sort of "absolute truth", for the very simple reason that they are all based on what are literally ideas of faith - neither provable nor disprovable.

Saying that it must be true because it's in the Bible misses the fundamental point that whatever its writers believed, like all faith's scriptures it is simply an expression of those writers' beliefs. It cannot prove itself, all it does is show what an ancient society believed.

It is your choice to be a Christian, but given that you say you have studied other faiths I am surprised that you seem to think it the only "true" one. Either all the others are just as "true", or none are true!
Carazaa · F
@ArishMell
It is not my choice to be a Christian! God saved me! He helps me! He is my Lord! Christianity is the only faith that is given and Jesus paid our pardon! the other you have to work for heaven!
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Carazaa Oh course it is your choice! You live in a secular, Western democracy that guarantees your choice of being religious or not, and which religion to follow!

You are as free to follow or abandon that faith as I am to remain agnostic or become a Christian (or take up any other religion).

I must admit I've not heard of that interpretation of Christianity before. I am familiar with the "Jesus died to save us all" slogan ( a hymn line I think); but your slant seems a complete abdication of personal responsibility and effort.

Like Islam actually, whose name means approximately "I surrender".
That's never been made the least clear to me

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP
Ok sorry at least that’s what I think God is telling me!

The word of God and souls of men
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
Then you can start to read the Bible about the last thing we talked about, how God doesn't determine when everyone dies.
Carazaa · F
He knows when you will die!@MartinTheFirst
MethDozer · M
Well then God should stop using his powers to create an infinite amount of BS to rightfully distract us from reading his propaganda book. .maybe if God didn't allow war and pandemics we would ha e time and energy to read it more often. However, we have way to much pressing shut to pay attention to than read about stoning people and pillars of salt.
Carazaa · F
@MethDozer I think God has taken most of the distractions away 🙂
MethDozer · M
@Carazaa Covid and the numerous wars are pretty distracting.
Carazaa · F
@MethDozer Are you sick?
