Is god not going to reveal himself to me unless i blindly accept that he is just and good? [Spirituality & Religion]
I mean, how am i supposed to turn off the brain he ostensibly gave me? When i read about hardening pharaoh's heart so that he could show off his power or how he orders his chosen people to kill children by the thousands....how am i supposed to embrace that as the actions of a good and just being?

Why don’t you go to the new Testament to find out what God is like and how he reveals himself to people today? Why have you got this fetish for going to the old Testament when it is quite clear that God doesn’t reveal himself to people in that manner today? It seems to me you are always like the person who is trying to learn how to service a horse and cart when everyone else is driving around in a car
Know if you didn’t realise it to anyone who is educated or knows what they’re talking about you are embarrassing yourself. People are totally ignorant like yourself might think you’re smart but actually to anyone who actually knows anything you’re just appearing what of course you are is an inane fool asking inane questions of an infant. Here you are saying you’ve read the new Testament on a couple of occasions and you still don’t realise what anything is about. Some of us are trying to help you by telling you that it’s the new Testament you should be asking questions about yet you still obsess with obscure passages in the Old Testament.
