Is god not going to reveal himself to me unless i blindly accept that he is just and good? [Spirituality & Religion]
I mean, how am i supposed to turn off the brain he ostensibly gave me? When i read about hardening pharaoh's heart so that he could show off his power or how he orders his chosen people to kill children by the thousands....how am i supposed to embrace that as the actions of a good and just being?

Pikachu, God [b]chooses us [/b] from the foundation of the world. But we have to be humble and repent. I am not sure exactly if we have to repent first or repentance is a result of salvation. Salvation is a miracle and a mystery. Most churches will say, accept Jesus and have faith. But many of those churches have backslidden, or no Christians in my opinion. When there is a heart change then it is life changing and permanent I believe.
Satan knows there is a God, and knows the Bible. But He thinks he is better than God and rebelled. Knowledge is one thing but being humble is another. We have to come to God as a humble sinner asking for forgiveness and realize Jesus died for you, rose from the dead, and proclaim that you have faith to someone and follow Him to be saved.
