Actually we know a great deal. There's just a lot that we still don't know. This is not sufficient reason to claim that we DO know and the answer is god.
@Pikachu This is a leading Doctor of Chemistry and he says he knows nothing and shame on us if we attest to know anything at all! He is aghast at the text books and their lies. The more you know Pika the more you know that you know nothing! Like God says " You know not that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked" Not you specifically of course, just us humans.
Actually what he seems to be saying is that we don't know much about chemical synthesis. He appears to be discussing a very specific subject which you are characterizing as an admonition against saying we know anything.

Well i don't want to be critical. How can i tell you that you appear to be misrepresenting his quote by extending his feelings on a specific subject to all of science without sounding critical?
@Pikachu Why not just say, you disagree that He said that. That's enough. I get it! I believe he accuses many science books to be asserting truth statements, when in actuality it is just assumptions on a lot of topics and should be presented in a more honest way.

There are two ways we could proceed: 1. we could continue to observe and to gather evidence and to develop evidence-based Theories that explain demonstrated realities. 2. we could just make up something reassuring. Where that conflicts with demonstrated realities (see 1. above) we’ll just throw away, ignore, or misrepresent, demonstrated realities and insist on our convenient fictions.
@newjaninev2 I am a super curious person, and I love science. But we have to be careful before we declare truth, and be slow to jump to conclusions that's all I am saying. I think you are super educated about science but please don't jump to conclusions. I believe in Gods word not because I want to escape from reality, but because I want the truth and the whole truth.
@newjaninev2 OK! Are you willing to die for anything? Science? What if so? I am willing to die for truth, for my testimony that God is walking with me, he talks to me through the Bible and my heart, and I know as I know as I know He answers my prayers!
@Carazaa How does someone give God their heart if they don’t believe he exists? Why don’t you try giving Odin or Zeus your heart and let us know how that goes.
God's Word can't be refuted, or disregarded, or contradicted, or argued with. His love for us surpasses all understanding and He is bringing us full circle to the beginning to become the men and women He created us to be without sin. In this world, we'll always have the sinful nature which is why we need Jesus in our lives as our Lord and Savior. This fallen world of ours is only temporary which means it's not reality due to the troubles it has. Reality is eternal like the one true God and will be forever present like the one true God.
@GodSpeed63 Gods word can’t be refuted because the evidence is in the bible which is Gods word so it becomes a self-fulfilling truth. Conversely if I don’t accept that the Bible is some irrefutable divine truth then I have no reason to accept your position. God exists if that’s what you want
@LeopoldBloom Where is Oden's book declaring to be the only God in his own voice, took care of the worlds sins, answers prayers, gives thousands of Bible promises that has been verified, tells us the future, and created everything?
