Would Jesus have come if Adam had not sinned? [Spirituality & Religion]

and why did He wait so long?
This is just a question. If you are atheist or agnostic you can call it BS or take a shot at it as if its a debate and you were assigned to argue one side or the other. Thx in advance

Wait what? What Jesus? Isn't he in the whole story much later? Adam is the first man so how could Jesus be involved. Something that confuses me greatly, do people make a difference between God and Jesus?

@DrSunnyTheSkeptic Jesus was sent to redeem man from the original sin aka partaking of the forbidden fruit, tree of knowledge whatever pissed God off. God Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the same. Like a clover it has three leaves but one stem. My mind is limited.

@kentex35 Wait what?! God and Jesus are the same? But Jesus is the son of god how can you be your own son and father

@DrSunnyTheSkeptic because he's God. I'm obviously not a god so I can't possibly think like a God. He is a bit more experienced or powerful than me. I'd be a dumb ass to follow someone like me.
@kentex35 Original sin is a very Catholic idea. Jesus's actual purpose was to fulfill the prophecy and put an end to ceremonial law (eg blood sacrifice) so people could be forgiven

@Qwerty14 that practice of blood sacrifice came about after expulsion from eve. Nothing good came of the 'fruit' they tasted. Their ignorance or lack of experience was still there. I read something that said anything worthwhile usually has some lead up to the event. Like the super bowl cheesy as that is by comparison, but all these prophets came and preached and some performed a miracle I guess, they had power to summon any angel or God himself to open the red sea, or had an angel stop the blood sacrifice of an eldest son or build a boat big enough to save the only good family and all animals, except unicorns, griffins, Pegasus etc.In time. I believe we are all still evolving. Smarter than 500 years ago but not as smart as we'll be in 500 years. The bible and science will merge and all things someday will make sense of the other.
Whoa all this thinking... I'm going to pull a cork.
Good answer by the way
