Be honest: when you read the bible what makes you think it is of divine origin? [Spirituality & Religion]

There was a time in my life where i really wanted to believe and i tried hard to have faith and asked with all my heart that god reveal himself to me. But predictably he did not. And the more i read, the more it became obvious to me that the bible was the work of men.
So base and petty and violent. This was not the work of an enlightened being.

So what makes you feel that the bible is of divine origin?

@suzie1960 @Harriet03 You're both wrong. I quoted from the Scriptures of the only book that holds the only solid truth we have in this world. Not one of you or anybody can refute that. If you're going to tell they have, you'd better come up with solid evidence to support what you say is true. Otherwise, you're just whistling in the wind.

@GodSpeed63 Your silly book is just a jumble of myths and superstitions that have already been refuted.. You need to come up with some solid, independently verifiable evidence that your claims are true, otherwise you'll just continue to make a fool of yourself.
