Why doesn't god want me to believe in him? [Spirituality & Religion]

There was a time in my life when i earnestly, desperately asked god to reveal himself to me.
If god is real then he would know how to make me believe. But evidently he hasn't done that.
So either he doesn't exist or he doesn't want me to believe, right?

You should look into something called The Thomas Theorem. It’s a sociological theory on human behavior about how stubborn people will believe something even if it is not backed up by facts. It also asserts that if people believe something to be real. That essentially makes the belief real. If it effects your daily life and your thought process then regardless of logical scientific, or factual errors, your belief is real because of how it effects you and your life in some context.

I will look into that, thanks
