Lord (not a bag of shit at all) Byron, progenitor of the law of thermodynamics acknowledged that it did not conflict with evolution theory [Spirituality & Religion]

He (presumably) understood that theory very well, right?
So if even he did not consider evolution to be incompatible, why do modern creationists?

I have no religion,but neither do I believe evolution is our true origin.It has more leaks than your oldest shoes.The answer lies elsewhere.
@pedrohedgerow

Interesting.
Can you be specific as to where you feel the failings of evolution theory lay?
pedrohedgerow · 61-69, M
@Pikachu I could,but will not.Because I have had this discussion many times before,and have come to realise it is a fruitless and futile waste of time.So I state my opinion,and having done so am happy to accept that others may have a different point of view.God Bless 😉
@pedrohedgerow

Well i admit i find that disappointing but if you're not up for a debate today then i certainly won't try to force you

@Pikachu Instead of disappointment,I would hope you see the reasoning behind my thinking.We are all on a journey,and we all have our own paths to tread.That is simply the way of things.Merry christmas Pikachu.
@pedrohedgerow

I'm sorry, don't see your reasoning as a valid reason to enter a thread wherein a question is asked of you, give a non-specific answer and then refuse to clarify when asked.

I don't know how i should find the refusal to engage in a discussion anything but disappointing.
Seeing someone entering a thread which invites discussion, only to announce their position and then refuse to talk about their position is exactly the opposite result which such a thread is meant to achieve.

So..that's a disappointment to me.

Too bad,I have explained why,and your reception I find antagonistic,which I have no interest in engaging with.I have tried to leave the matter with good will,still do.You have your beliefs,and are welcome to them,I do not need your explanation,it is your entitlement,just as it is for everyone.Finished.
@pedrohedgerow

Why is wishing you were willing to discuss the subject antagonistic?

You expressed the notion that i should not be disappointed. I explained why i AM disappointed. I'm sorry if that seemed adversarial to you.

Nevertheless, you've chosen not to engage in a discussion of this subject and so i must assume that the productive portion of this interaction has ended.

Have a pleasant evening🙂

@pedrohedgerow She asked for the reasoning behind your thinking, you refused to give it to her.
