But i repeat: what makes you think nothing was ever the state of being? Why should we think nothing is even possible? Has anyone ever directly or indirectly observed nothing?

@Pikachu I think many people can't comprehend the idea of nothing and get confused and think a vacuum is nothing.

@Pikachu I must say that your position is a bit confusing to me. Is it your position that everything came from something, but that there was no creation involved in any of it... it all just happened somehow?

My position is that we came from some state of existence the precise nature of which we are not certain.
Could even be nothing but i've never seen nor been presented with any reason to suppose that nothing is even possible.
