What other phrase would you use to describe the vast emptiness of space?
Also, I would like both sides of this argument to stop deciding for everyone else that their position is the only right and true position on the topic.
I'm a Christian, but I fail to see why or how one view overrules the other.
"God said, Let there be light, and a Big Bang occurred, and there was light."

Not sure what you mean by this in the context of this thread...

Pikachu didnt say his position is always right, or even say what his position is, exactly, he just objected to being told, falsely, by creationists what his position is.
Aren't you guys meant to be the ones who are told to not bear false witness?

I was referring to both creationists and those who claim scientific theory. As I'm sure you've seen, some feel that any that don't agree with them absolutely and 100% then they are absolute morons/the most incorrect person on the planet/damned to eternal Hell.
I was simply piggybacking my psa on yours.

Nothing is ever entirely nothing.
'Space' is filled with virtual particles snapping into and out of existence, and generating a range of effects while doing so... including light, which appears from 'nothing'.
God said, Let there be light, and a Big Bang occurred, and there was light
a Big Bang occurred... the rest is unnecessary complication that contributes nothing.
