What do you believe happens to people who live in uncontacted civilizations after they die? [Spirituality & Religion]

You hear of uncontacted tribes around the world who have no idea about Christianity or any other religions besides their own, what do you think happens to them when they die? Do they burn in hell even if they've never heard of Christ?
Abbenthewarwolf · 18-21, M
No why should they? Christianity doesn't have a monopoly on the Ture Creator no religion does.
MrSimons · 41-45, M
@Abbenthewarwolf Not at all. Christianity wasn't even made the official religion under him. He just legalised it. He didn't enforce the teaching of either view represented at the council. In fact, the controversy blew up again despite the ruling. Church Fathers like Athanasius had to contend for the doctrine of the Trinity in a world turned Arian.
Abbenthewarwolf · 18-21, M
@MrSimons Mr Simon Sir. U know I have respect for u. As well as most other adults. I kn idk everything that I would like to know and I'm learning and growing. I don't mean any disrepect at all. So I'm done. Forgive me if I insulted you or anyone else on this post. Sorry to the Op. We have been talking a lot without including Adh123. God bless you Sir. But I'm done with this. Later. Peace
MrSimons · 41-45, M
@Abbenthewarwolf No, you didn't insult me at all. I enjoy talking about things like this.

It’s as if religion was invented to control people.

This was a problem I always had with "church teaching" ever since I was a small child.
I remember having a very serious discussion with my mom when I was about 6 or 7.
"Just because they never heard of Jesus, God would condemn indians (see, we used to say indians when what we meant was Native Americans) to Hell? I don't think so, that isn't right. I think if they were good people and didn't cause anyone undue hardship, God would welcome them to their version of Heaven."

My mom said, "That makes sense". Which, quite frankly, is good enough for me.
MrSimons · 41-45, M
@xixgun People are not saved by being "good people". The whole point of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins was because we can never be good enough. The amazing thing is that anyone is saved, not that some people are not.

You're assuming the lack of knowledge is damnable. If that's enough to get on your God's bad side then fuck Him.
daisymay · 51-55, T
@SW-User That's a pretty fundamental underpinning of many religions. Catholicism, for example, condemns stillborn babies to purgatory because they didn't participate in all their magic rituals.
MrSimons · 41-45, M
@daisymay I think you will find that the teaching is that they go to Limbo, not purgatory.
rckt148 · 61-69, M
only those who know the laws and precepts of God are held to a higher standard
But nature as Christ taught still has an order to things
When by nature your heart tells you not to kill ,then its counted as righteousness if you don't ,,but if they know its wrong ,but do it anyway ,then their own heart will condemn them ,,the more you know the more accountable you are
to know to do ,and not do,then it is sin ,,and to have the wisdom to know better ,but you do it anyway its sin
Christs blood was for the world thousands of years ago to make a way that we all should find atonement ,,its the intentions of our heart that reveal if we are worthy of it
When you know something is wrong it is ,if you have never heard of Christ or not
Everything that has breath has been given a measure of faith
Even if they don't know who gave it to them ,or they chose not to accept Him
The sparrow and the Lilly don't do anything ,or know anything
but the Father still knows them ,and provides for them

I would say someone in that position would stand a better chance with God
then most who call themselves Christin in the USA
Most don't want to know God ,,and they have ample chance ,
but they say they love Him ,,but they have no fruit to prove it
and the make others hate Christians based on their heathen ways ,the lost blame on God ,they are stumbling blocks ,,or wolves in sheeps clothing
They may have a form of Godliness ,but Christ is not in them ,they are playing church ,they are not the church
rckt148 · 61-69, M
@Mrjingleswilly its saying just because you have not heard of Christ is no excuse ,,Paul goes into it even more ,but its not worth starting an argument over
there are very few people in the world today that some religion has not tried to get to them
many think that is when Christ will come ,when the last Non Jew hears the Gospel
Christ will come when the last Prophecy is fulfilled ,not before
Mrjingleswilly · 51-55, M
@rckt148 That’s an impossible prophecy, surely? Given birth rates there will always be a human being that is unaware of Christian dogma.
rckt148 · 61-69, M
@Mrjingleswilly yea thats not the prophecy ,many man made doctrines,
Not wrong scripture ,mans interpretation of is was wrong ,,it helps to have the Holy Spirit helping you to understand ,,being born again .
the mark of a fallen church is enforced by law (they altered Gods laws ,say they are the same as God and can forgive sin ,,enforce a doctrine that make you choose
the traditions of a church ,or the commandments of God
Christ said its going to be a small number that chose the right path
Soon after that all hell breaks lose ,and the world will see who's God /gods are the real one
Then we will see if God is real or not
So far everything else has been right and on time ,,
he said he will destroy heaven and earth before one law of the Prophecies fail
every jot and every tittle will accomplish exactly what He said He would do
or its all a lie ,,He made it clear ,,He don't lie ,,,,satan does and those who listen to him
Lots of lies out there now ,,it is a tough time to be young and confused for sure
I blame that on the Church ,,they preferred lies over sound doctrine

Just because Christianity has been shoved down generations of western throats for aeons doesn't make Christianity anymore likely than anything that came before it or after it.

Same is true anywhere else on the planet i imagine.

If they are never offered the choice of Jesus, then they go right to heaven, just like those that are aborted.

The world will end when every person on earth has had the opportunity to choose Christ as God and as their Savior and the one that became the sacrifice for their shortcomings.

Thats why jehovahs witness travel the globe & go door to door. So you have no excuse once you get to hell.
@Selah Don’t they also believe that only 144,000 people will actually get into Heaven ? Seems weird that they would keep proselytizing and risk getting “bumped”. 🤔
Selah ·
@bijouxbroussard lol yeah 144000 go to heaven & the rest of the saved people stay on Earth.

Not even if they heard of the myth.
SW-User
They have their own beliefs of what happens are they die, which is mostly spiritual rather than religious.
rckt148 · 61-69, M
@SW-User just curious how you would know that since they have had no contact with outsiders ,,,that was the point ,but in reality
missionaries have pretty much reached every culture on earth
even tracking down some assumed lost or extinct
some actually believe that Christ won't come until they do
SW-User
@rckt148 Because of prehistoric history B.C.E. During the start of human civilization, the many did not have much contact with other religions to help explain the world around them. So they developed their own. Even after Christ such as the Native Americans, before the Europeans made it to the New World and brought Christianity, they had their own beliefs that are still practiced today. And yes missionaries have come into contact with every culture, but I don't believe not all. There are still tribes that the outside world has never come into contact with and never will.
rckt148 · 61-69, M
@SW-User well sadly today we are told many things about "religion "
but most come out of one of the 12 tribes of juda and they all knew of God
The less they wanted him in their lives ,the more false religions popped up
I am part native and even my ancestors believed in the Great white spirit ,the glory of God that even Moses was not allowed to see
We hear now days there are many religions pre date the Hebrews ,,not so
the genealogy was preserved to prove when Christ was registered as a tax payer
He did in fact come from the linage of David and who his ancestors were .
they are now uncovering relics and artifacts all the way back to Babylon when all men spoke the same language ,and all knew of the Most High we now call God
I seriously doubt many places exist on land ,man and especially the Papacy
has not has some influence and I would say it very few places
But the ones who have never had contact with men ,,we have no clue that they believe ,,,like I said ,,even the natives said they were visited by God ,
but God is actually a Roman name or term as is Jesus ,the letter J did not exist until the 1500's ,,most knew Him by some other name but they knew it was the Most High ,we now call God
They all have their belief system. The Kalabari of the Niger delta would advocate that certain village heroes did not die but would just simply disappear!
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Generally compared to "civilization" they are a lot more innocent, because they haven't been taught and don't know better.
I don’t think being naive is a huge roadblock for st peter
Deadcutie · 18-21, F
Everyone gets a second chance, even christians
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
It's up to God to decide, not me.
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
Same happens to us all
Christians may think that. I don't.
