Satanism: a proper way of life? [Spirituality & Religion]

Most modern religions reject all things pagan and wiped out most traces of pagan gods and rituals, then replaced it with modern religions like Christianity and Islam. They aren’t very accepting of science either.

I read about some pre Christian societies such as the Celts, Picts and Norse and even the odd fact or two from ancient societies in the south americas, especially the mythologies from the ancient side of mankind, they all had a pantheon of gods and goddess to worship back in the day.

From what I heard of Satanism is that they’re more of a knowledge seeking people with an interest to supporting scientific advancements as well as encouraging others to think for themselves and not be led under false pretences.

Considering all things primal, Satanism and Paganism are the two practiseim more interested in compared to all the drama of modern religions. In my opinion.

first, I don't think we can put together paganism and Satanism as they are totally different from each other and it is only a prejudism from the church which have associated paganism with Satanism. Paganism predates Christianity. also, the definition of Satanism that you are implying refers to the church of Satan of Anton Lavey which although they have chosen that name are really not Satanists since they technically do not believe in Satan and are actually atheists. The church of Satan is more a glorification of our raw, animalistic nature, a celibration of edonism and freedom. at a time which was still very controlled by chistian ideology it gave them a sense of breaking free from endoctrination to call themselves Satanists. Even the satanic bible in large part is just a philosophical statement about freedom and a new perpective of humans based on reason and science and ridiculously mixed with the enochian calls of John Dee but replacing the words god with satan and angels with demons. Satanism is the worship of Satan and must imply a belief in satan and in this way is no more scientific than any other religion. Paganism is a loose derogative term given to ancient practices and worship.

@reflectingmonkey nicely said!! when i was in rome a few years back i learned that the coliseum was actually a pagan structure. so when christianity moved into rome they were supposed to destroy all pagan structures. to get away with keeping the coliseum they said it was on sacred ground, blood drenched from all the christians that died at he hands of the lions. turns out.. they would have never risked injuring a lion on a "filthy christian" and there was just a menacing building up the road where all the christains were killed. its still there too!
