Here is what God’s Word says about it.

First Corinthians 15:33 “Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”

This is spoken of in the Book of Proverbs too. Whoever we run with we become like so we can’t associate with people of bad morality without it rubbing off on us as we tend to become like those who we have as friends, for good or bad.

Mark 7:20-23 “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”

Continuing on the idea of 1st Corinthians 15:33, we see that morality is not so much what others see on the outside, but what comes from within and if others are living sinful lives and we associate with them, it should come as no surprise then that we too might become like them. It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person but what comes out of the mouth for it reveals what’s in our hearts for what is drawn out of the well, reveals what’s in the water.

You're really afraid to think, aren't you?😕

@Pikachu I'm not afraid of anything. You have not answered back my last reply on your post. So I don't bother anymore
@SW-User

You're not? Because look: one reply in and you're already making excuses to flee the conversation.
There's nothing to be afraid of, dear.

Let's just discuss the topic. Or if you have no interest in discussing the topic, one must wonder why you felt the need to enter the thread in the first place.

Sorry, no idea to which reply or post you're referring. If you want to trhow me a link i'd be happy to look at it🙂

@Pikachu I'm not falling for it. It's been twice. You asked for proof, I gave it, you ghost. It's your own post, find them yourself.

I just don't deal with users like you. There is no benefit.

It's not being afraid, it's being mindful of who I can actually gain knowledge with while debating. You're not one of them.
@SW-User

Sorry dude, i get a lot of posts. I can't keep track of all of them. I recognize your username but i have literally no idea what conversation you're referring to.
Me missing your post was a sore spot for you, not me. Like i said, i'd be happy to take a look at it if you tell me where it is. If you can't be bothered then why should i?
I'm trying to move this in a direction where we can have a conversation.
You seem more interested in posturing.

So i'll just ask once more. Would you like to discuss the topic? Perhaps debate the necessity of god to explain moral behaviour, the possible evolutionary origins?

Up to you🙂
