How do you respond when people try to force their religion or lack of religion down your throat? [Spirituality & Religion]

I'm just usually like nah dude, I'm chill with Jesus, Buddha, Kali, Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Jehovah, Allah, and the giant spaghetti monster in the sky.
Believe in what you want or nothing at all, just don't hurt anyone in the process.
And this is coming from a non-religious person who likes to learn about other religions because it's interesting.

I tell them pretty firmly, "Not interested".

But I've yet to have an atheist stop me as a total stranger and try to tell me what I shouldn't believe. I HAVE, however, had religious people follow me down the street, on the train, on the streetcar and even knock at the door of my home wanting to proselytize and get me to believe what they believe. And I also remember religious people lobbying here for Proposition 8 to stop people they'd never even met from being able to marry. So I do prefer a secular society to a theocracy any day of the week.
