What song please?

I heard a bit yesterday and sure it's from a TV programme or film.
It goes something like this ' who told me so dilly dilly, who told you so? When I grow up dilly dilly I will be queen'.
Not sure if that words are correct but very similar to what I remember. It was a really sweet song

I was walking in the park
Dreaming of a spark
When I heard the sprinklers whisper
Shimmer in the haze of summer lawns

Then I heard the children singing
They were running through the rainbows
They were singing a song for you
Well it seemed to be a song for you
The one I wanted to write for you, for you, you

Lavenders blue, dilly dilly, lavenders green
When I am king, dilly dilly
You will be queen
A penny for your thoughts my dear
A penny for your thoughts my dear
I O U for your love
I O U for your love

Lavenders green, dilly dilly, lavenders blue
When you love me, dilly dilly, I will love you
A penny for your thoughts my dear
A penny for your thoughts my dear
I O U for your love
I O U for your love

Lavender dreams dilly, dilly, lavenders true
When you missed me dilly dilly, I did miss you
A penny for your thoughts my dear
A penny for your thoughts my dear
I O U for your love
I O U for your love
For your love, for your love, for your love

Oh I'm gonna get back to you
Gonna find my way back to you
For your love, for your love, for your love

I'm always walking in the park
Always dreaming of a spark
From you

Lavender's blue, dilly dilly, lavender's green.
When I am king, dilly dilly, you shall be queen.

It was a skipping song we used in the playground.
@SunshineGirl I will try and do skipping to it. I would love to have a nice dress in and dance in a field to it or be in a film

@happygoluckygal Pretty as a picture! 😊

Did you play elastics at school? You wrap a loop of elastic around two players' legs and then skip in and out of the two lengths. That is the skipping game we did.
@SunshineGirl we did similar at primary school. I normally do well at skipping for some reason when we do circuits

One of the old ones...
I heard the same song on a Hallmark channel xmas movie some years ago, the Prince was a community center volunteer or something.
