Yes, they are allowed to vote....but they don't necessarily vote as a block.
Sometimes a surprising percentage of women don't vote for people and issues that you'd think they would be supportive of.

Of course...and we do, in great numbers. The women's Suffrage Movement won us the right to vote in the 1920's!!!

Women (can) have great minds, and are sometimes even MORE intelligent than some men. The fact that men wanted to deny them the chance to have a say in their children's schools, and their own government, was appalling to free American women. They were actually TOLD to stay in their kitchens and learn "their places". But they fought for this right, and all women here respect what their great grandmothers went through to obtain the vote.
