I Love Volunteering

@metaldog I've been at the charity I'm volunteering with have turned me down for a job with them yet again. There are few opportunities for paid work with them and I've applied twice and been rejected twice, even though I've gone above and beyond time and time again for both the company and the people within it.

@electropura hmm, do they want official qualifications or something?

@metaldog I don't think it was essential, but I have qualifications that would allow to flourish with them, and I've given over a years extremely loyal service. If there were more opportunities within, I probably wouldn't be so demoralised, but there's only a couple. I'm basically stuck at my level.

@electropura that would certainly be disheartening I wonder what their reasoning is

@metaldog I was 'unlucky' this time apparently. But they reassured me that I'm valued and wanted etc.
