Yes I am ...ugh. Theres this guy I've been getting in a drive thru for nearly a year now. A few months ago he said 'Hey'! and tried to guess my order too. I am friendly in return, but neither of us really branch out of Hello how are you? .... When he said 'hey!' like he was beginning to recognize me, I wondered if he was being more than friendly (not that 'hey' is flirting really lol) but it was different than the typical 'have a good day'. Now recently it's just 'have a good day' again. I'm sure he wasn't probably doing anything than being nice, now that I come to think of it. Oh well... I'm too shy to really delve into more conversation, but I'm working on it. :)

My wife had no problem telling the difference. It was one of the lessons she learned in college.

I can tell the difference easily. I’m not the friendly type, so I rarely end up in situations where people think I’m flirting or try to hit on me.

Oh, we can usually tell the difference. We disregard a lot of flirtation because we’re simply not interested in engaging in it with certain guys.

I have been known to mistake kindness for flirting, but I also think men straddle that line because they sometimes like the attention more than the control.

Honestly I try to never assume anything, so they’d have to really spell it out for me. But one thing I know, you show kindness to some men, they think you want them. It’s really insulting… ick

Honestly, I usually just play it cool and act like I didn't notice when someone is flirting (or Hitting on me) with me, especially at work. 🍁

I always assumed simple friendliness and nothing much has changed. Folks kind of have to spell things out. 😳
