We are different and so you can't compare different things, it's unfair to both. We're equally given different kinds of pressures from expectations, society and stereotypes...
We're left freer in different fields.
We mature differently. We have different periods' wavelengths. Like, women and men reach different peaks at their 20s, 30s, .. 50s etc..

We do take longer to mature in that sense, it's in our blood to take risks and we have a lot of testosterone. We react differently and we're emotionally different. Men can react strongly to things but it's just who we are.
It's why women like older guys, we generally figure things out in our 20s and mature at 30. At least that's how my experience has proven.
Having said that though there's definitely subjectivity in your experience and I can say I dont make decisions out of spite.

Women generally have it harder than men so, I can see why they would mature faster. As a man, I find the thought quite horrifying for random strangers to stare at me as they drive in their car for my entire life. To have my freedom to decide how I feel about things forced on me. In this case, the woman gets sharpened.

@twistedrope you are right indeed. Yet I believe men have it equally hard, just at different fields. For example, I'm comfortable in the unwritten law where none is supposed to be attacking a woman. It happens yes, but as a general rule, I feel protected. I can't imagine how it'd be like living in a world where the idea of being beaten or killed even would be seen as a natural sacrifice demanded by circumstances (wars, attacks, etc)..

I don't know, sometimes I feel like women are more anxious and conscientious, therefore more reliable but in the end men often end up better off anyway.

@CrazyMusicLover Salary wise, there is inequality in the business world. Even when women do things better, they get paid less than when men do the exact same things.
As for the others that are based on feelings, I'd say it depends on the experience.

I think there are people like that, but there are a lot more immature people than there are responsible successful people.
Some men remain juvenile all their lives. They're called fun loving. Some women stay juvenile all their lives. They're diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder.
