What word has someone used to describe you that you had to google to find out what the heck it meant?

Querulous.
Fool was in the wrong so tried to use a word he thought I would not know.
At the time my understanding of the word was - argumentative.
The real meaning is Petulant or Whiny.
So we were both wrong. 🙂
He used the word in the wrong context.
He was saying why did I think I was always right.

I don't recall...my vocabulary is above average...and ik what persnickety means😀

A long time ago someone said I was the dope... I wasn't sure whether I should be insulted or if it was a compliment turned out it was a compliment.

Most words don’t get by me tbh. It’s more likely that I’ve confused them

When I was a kid I didn't know what "stubborn" meant, I just thought it meant bad character.
