To be fair, we would... If people weren't so obnoxious with it... If it ended at just politics and not the cornerstone of their self-identity...

No and they just argue about in non-stop while Congress goes ahead and does whatever they want anyways.
Iwantout · 26-30, M
No they treat them like sports teams here in America and it is f****** pitiful
Iwantout · 26-30, M
@Angelwarfare exactly what I was saying people treat politics like sports teams and even if their team sucks they still root for them
@Iwantout Very good analogy!

@Angelwarfare thank you
It has gotten worse here in Canada, for sure. People are very divided, which is partially due to Trudeau, the truckers, covid etc

As a general statement, yes.

There are those on the fringes, mainly right wing groups here ...

I would agree for the most part. I've been on both sides of the spectrum, and actually was going to be employed in international politics between Texas and Coahuila, Mexico but everyone said get into computers. Now having lived several years in California I can tell you the fringe groups there are mostly leftist.

@PatKirby both extremes, left and right, have them... The statistical outliers
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
It depends. Is it true that in the US people's parents can disapprove a relationship based on opposite political views?
DDonde · 31-35, M
I dunno man
