There are probably wise and unwise people in all those professions
@Justmeraeagain

Just my opinion but wisdom to me leans left - respect for people. Everyone. The high and the mighty to those in need.

@rinkydinkydoink That is a type of wisdom.
I am quite conservative, but I believe that I do respect people no matter their status.
Wisdom isn't defined by me, within a certain profession, economic group, or political affiliation in mind.
Wisdom is bestowed, and not, to me, an ability every kind person has; it doesn't make them less than.
Wisdom, for me, is the ability to look at a situation and make the best course of action in that situation and possibly direct others.
A good person may lack wisdom, and out of that sense of goodness, end up trusting the wrong person, help a scammer, or hurt rather than help.
A wise person will learn and an unwise person will continue to make things worse, make the same errors in judgment over and over again or continue trusting people who have no scruples.
That doesn't make them bad people.
I found such wisdom in what the world would consider the lowest and those they would deem mighty; I don't believe either of those things makes a person wise or unwise.
I believe wisdom can be learned; it takes a bit of humility, and sometimes people are born with the ability to analyze and make good judgments early.
I don't believe it is wise to be cruel, because you would end up with no advocates, and those who trust in brute strength alone or trust in power given to them usually end up badly.

Yours is truly a conservative response - in my humble opinion.
Again - only to me, but always being on guard against evil is a smart way to be for those who expect people (others) to show their bad side eventually. So, one has to be prepared for problems all the time.

@rinkydinkydoink I suppose, it would be. Not everyone has the wisdom to guard against evil, that is why we need the truly wise people to protect and defend those who cannot defend themselves.

...and so the discussion will go on and on and on. Each stuck on our own paths absolutely sure the other person simply doesn't understand.
