The problem with such a question is that there is no agreed definition of the word wise.

So a religious person might choose Religion and a worldly person might choose Government while a person who personally feels no great need to own things might choose Philanthropy. However I suspect that the wisdom that the religious person has in mind is not the same thing as the wisdom that the Government person has in mind and while the religious might think they have a lot in common with the philanthropist the philanthropist might disagree.

Etc.

I'm thinking yours will be the wisest comment :D

So, to make it official - BC

I feel that the smartest people stay out of the lime light. They embrace family & friends, live to serve others and find daily gratitude in simplicity. They maintain a sense of wander and awe.
@Promises

My dad.

To me, yours is a comment of and from each and every one of us. Wisdom begins at home. :D

It could be any or all of those. Wisdom doesn't really have much to do with line of work or age. Unless one just "thinks" he's wise and chooses based on that.
It's a gift to some and they most likely won't be trying to prove it.
Hopefully teaching...

Definitely Teachers. Like your high school teachers. I learn more from them than I did my professors
@TurtlePink

My grade 13 (I'm from Canada!) English teacher had a crush on Terence Stamp. Miss Black would find a way to incorporate this Brit actor into as many class discussions as she could.

The woman had NO shame... 🤣

I'm a brine taster over at the pickle factory but I'd rather be an olive stuffer.
@hunkalove

Does Miley have any idea how, er... um... modest your life's ambition is?

We need wise people in every walk of life.
@FreddieUK

Come to think of it, that's true.

We got a ton of smart (even wise!) people on this here site 🤓🧠

There are probably wise and unwise people in all those professions
@Justmeraeagain

Yours is truly a conservative response - in my humble opinion.
Again - only to me, but always being on guard against evil is a smart way to be for those who expect people (others) to show their bad side eventually. So, one has to be prepared for problems all the time.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@rinkydinkydoink I suppose, it would be. Not everyone has the wisdom to guard against evil, that is why we need the truly wise people to protect and defend those who cannot defend themselves.
@Justmeraeagain

...and so the discussion will go on and on and on. Each stuck on our own paths absolutely sure the other person simply doesn't understand.

'Influencing'.

The answer is in the job title....
@Thodsis

Not sure what you mean.
Monalisasmith86 · 41-45, F
You should have an ‘all ‘ option or something
@Monalisasmith86

Excellent idea. Give me a moment and that option will be there.
Monalisasmith86 · 41-45, F
@rinkydinkydoink ok i will choose all lol
@Monalisasmith86

Good choice!
