peer pressure? really? half my friends are vegan and they don't bother me with that. I'm a hippy so I know A LOT of vegans, I cook for about 400 of them every summer. no one ever tries to convert me but I did train as a nutrition councelor and I eat very balanced. if you have a unhealthy lifestyle or are overweight it might make people want to give you advice on how to change your life. being vegan is probably healthier, personally I eat meat because I function better on a low carb -high protein diet and its very hard to be vegan and low carb-high protein.
