Rant on gullibleness

I’m thinking about this and I can totally understand. Some people are very convincing or hard to read. I imagine the best way to gradually come out of it is to not say anything, react or agree. Go and have a think about it on your own and think about the likelihood of it. Trust your instincts always. I read something interesting sometime ago, actually quite recently about the difference between wishful thinking and intuition. “Wishful thinking tells us we have to keep questioning it and telling ourselves and intuition is silent”.

This probably means you have a kind heart and you want to help everyone, so when the stranger at the door tells you your brother is in prison and you have to pay the bail to get him out.. using cash cards, you hand them over right away.

Now that you know that or think that. You can move beyond that. Maybe slow down and give yourself time to think things through.

Well, the partner to “gullible” is having faith in others abilities and motives. That’s not something to ashamed of.

A lot of are. Try not to be so hard on yourself. It sounds as though you may not have very kind people in your life.

You can begin life afresh anytime. Just that you need to draw a line and begin a new life. It's just like shedding old clothes and wear a new outfit.
