When my father was emotionally abusing me, i told my granny.

She said i am being so prideful being a girl and I should stay in my place because this place is his and also he is man so he will say and do what he wants bcuz he is more prideful than girls and see good in him, why can't I be grateful that he is providing for us.

I mean how can she make excuses for men's bad behaviour and tell me to stay in my place which is very disrespectful.
