I miss them too. They ignite a part of the brain and even soul that can make you feel alive and fluttery. But sadly the energy to maintain them can be a bit hard to sustain sometimes.

@PerfectionOfTheHeart I can lose hours with them, and it comes easily with the right person to connect with, sadly they’re becoming more and more elusive.

I wish I had more bandwidth to initiate and maintain them.
Sometimes I just wonder if maybe really that I'm just boring and not that interesting.

@Starcrossed I think it’s more a case of the rarity to find someone you can just click with, it comes naturally then. If you have to try then it’s easy to get bored of it.

@DHggmu yeah right when i think i might get to have a decent conversation, that's usually when the perversions start

@Lilliesandlight I can’t say I have that problem, more that people disappear. But I’m sorry you have to deal with that.

@DHggmu not impossible as there has been many instances of good conversations happening. But the problem is the basic knowledge and tolerance for criticism as people resort to slander even at the slightest provocation. I see many take general remarks as personal and start to misbehave.
But the patience to listen and converse is gone.

This is so true

Sometimes it is difficult to have meaningful conversations because politics or religion seem to come into the discussion, and I refuse to discuss either one.
