@Ducky they're not obligated to eat your food and they won't because it's a violation of their religious beliefs. they're probably better off without you as a friend if you are going to ridicule their beliefs.

@StygianKohlrabi Idk how you were raised, but I was raised that being a decent human being comes before religion. After all, we’re all human at the end of the day, and one should learn to be humble and simply respect their fellow human rather than putting their beliefs above their humanity. Such practices are arrogant, outdated, but above all: disrespectful. But we clearly have different ideas on how things should work, so I reckon we have nothing else to talk about. @Ducky sounds like a simple case of miscommunication but I happen to know it's a core component of religion most won't ever violate. I assure you they were not trying to be disrespectful.
