Society and the system are boring.

Helping rich people get richer. We work for them, we buy into the junk they sell and a lot of people that think they're well off are still sucked into it.

Consuming instead of expressing.

Distractions galore.

Faking it till they make it is my least favorite. It's actually disgusting. People spend their lives being someone they aren't to impress other fake people for an illusion that they can get ahead in a system fueled by their lack of self.

I wish I had a way out. I'd take it. I felt it, when I was in the van. Though I wasn't able to sustain it with my situation at the time, I had a taste of real freedom. It was raw and present 24/7, and I realized that most people are delusional about what freedom is.

I am well aware there's all kinds of labels and divisions between us. We have all developed and grown in different ways. My way of thinking is not superior, but there is truth I see most people ignore. We are being controlled for productivity.

It's not healthy for us at all. It's pretty obvious in my country. Stolen land, slavery, progress for profit. Is this really what we believe in? And then I remember how many people are faking it till they make it... and I still don't understand why we're this one dimensional. For a time I was sucked into it because I was afraid of not being part of the herd. (I'm not a faker though. I'm not sorry anymore either. A few people get it and I'm good with that.)

I only wish humanity would realize that equality hurts no one, fake is not real, and this isn't all there is. I wish everyone could taste real freedom. It's a decadent humbling that alters your heaviest perceptions in life.

Creating anyway is an act of resistance. Building community where you can is too. So sre defining your life by your own metrics, every authentic choice you make, ever sustainable purchase you make, every conversation beyond the surface level, etc

Decolonizing ourselves is a process, not an event. You’re doing good.
@SwampFlower you know I will keep going, keep creating and growing. Trying to be free while in the cage though, well that's the point of the cage, the limits of exhaustion.

I want out.

@MarbleMarvel I want out too. It’s up to us to make the way.
@SwampFlower I'll never quit Mama. For our kids.

I am usually much more subtle with my words, but there's something in the last day or two.
What I see is that we're milked like cows. We're then asked to be grateful for the grass and the roof above our heads. That's not it, that's not life, life is out there. It freaks me out to see it.
Our structure is much prison. And yet we're so afraid to live with materials that 50 years ago didn't even exist. We're taking a very strange turn. This is not it.
@being this is definitely not the way. At least not the only way, but many are trapped, half of them blissfully unaware. The rest ignoring their true potentials. It is strange and sad.

@MarbleMarvel Sadly. Most don’t know how we thrived pre contact. We have generations and generations of false history that supports the noble savage and “oh too bad some died but we civilized them!!” narrative. I pushed back in my public school and was silenced at best. Starting in fcking kindergarten.

I can’t blame people for what they don’t know. I can blame them for refusing to be educated now, though.
@SwampFlower One of my biggest issues is how anyone who doesn't follow the power narrative is called "savage"... Savage is slaughtering people for land, introducing disease, savage is stealing families to separate them and force them into slavery. THAT is savage. And then to scoff at anyone who mentions the white truth about it is willful ignorance.

It's just so obvious. And the path away from it is so clear. A walk of unity. My rage comes from being told fairness and balance is an impossibility by people who have as much free will as I do to change it.

They'd rather argue and irritate than do anything constructive. But there's no less merit to that than the ones who ignore it. Nothing will stop me from doing my part. I don't have the charisma most sheeple need to be lead. It's like they want to be manipulated.

@Achelois Yup. And truly don't believe other ways exist. They are institutionalized by their cages. Brainwashed and controlled by bullies and narcissists and wealth that only needs them to exploit them.
