how do you deal with rejection in general

any form of rejection by the opposite sex can hurt, i've been rejected many, many times through my life....how do you learn to not take it personal and take it to heart?

You have to not make it personal because their sex should not have anything to do with it. Because feeling otherwise would imply that you'd be okay if a man did it to you.
